Re: Moving to IPTV?
Any chance of a refferal to a good provider lads?
I have tried a few through other iptv forums and its very hit or miss.
I know this is my first post here but I have been on boards for donkeys years!

I'd be interested in this too, I don't know a lot about IPTV but I've read good reports.

Re: Moving to IPTV?
I only got a year subscription yesterday for all the channels. I dunno if it's IPTV or what it is. All I know is I installed and app on my fire stick and put in login details , there was no files or links needed to be added.
Tis fair decent. The service I got yer man gave me 2 devices on my account so I presume I can just give that device login away as I don't need 2. There's no catch-up tv on it but apart from that it seems fair savage

Can I ask what app you are using?
How complicated is it to set up?
Also anybody willing to pm a iptv provider recommendation is appreciated!

I'm using yp4k app. I downloaded some other app the fella said to but I prefer yp4k .
It's so easy to setup . Just install the app and then login is all.
Hmmm can't find the app with a quick google. I have a pic here with how to get it , just need to find out how to post pics on here now is all.

Re: Moving to IPTV?
Never had a Roku, word is they are okay. I've only had Mibox, mi TV, fire stick and Nvidia shield which are all very good.
Tivimate is my choice of IPTV app I have it on 4 boxes and mi TV with communal recording to a home network drive. I can record on one box, watch back on any other. I use m3u4u.com to reorder and fix my m3u, I add better logos and fix and channels missing EPG. I then add the m3u4u to my Mibox and other boxes and any changes I make get synced to all boxes the next time they load. I can in seconds fix a missing EPG on my phone and the boxes all get the changes.

Re: Moving to IPTV?
Any recommendations for a dedicated box?
I have been doing a trial of it on my OSMega enigma2 box running OpenVix and but its showing its age, the box is sluggish changing channels with X-Streamity.
I've also tried creating bouquets using Jedi but the OpenVix epg isnt updated within the IPTV bouquets so its pretty pointless, in X-Streamity the epg works but i'd prefer not to have to load a separate plugin - general epg integration is what I'm after.
The Formuler Z8 does well in review sites but seems to be now replaced by the Z10 Pro. Is this a decent box?
Any other recommendations for fast IPTV boxes -> where a decent epg is possible?

Re: Moving to IPTV?
Just get a Fire stick or Chromecast with Google TV they'll do Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, YouTube etc
