I suspect that TikTok was created by the Chinese to destroy US society. Twitter was hijacked by Russian bots for the same purpose.

I've never knowingly tikked a tok of any kind, but he's spot on with his comment that all of the big internet players are using this same tactic, with no apparent concern for what it'll to do their longevity as a viable business.

This observation in particular strikes a chord:

Yep. One of the reasons I rarely use Amazon's search facility any more, when a third party search will more easily bring me to the product I want (and may or may not also show that I can get the same thing 80% cheaper from AliExpress).

I've never had a TikTok or Twatter account. Ive no problem with Spam.

That being said, I have used Google to search Twatter as well as Amazon. The Amazon built in search is crap, totally crap. Search for a specific cable and you will get results for bathroom sinks....
