Note the commentator stated the drone model first show is "commercially available" Flew drones myself up to 2016. But here the tech is still a grey area and drones are treated like e - scooters.

Loads of practice opportunities.
Often doesn't matter if drone doesn't return, in fact it is often encouraged to just have one way trips.
And you get some novel experiences like crawling along hedgerows, ditches,etc until close to desired target.
