Did'nt do any business with them, but apparently a whole lot of Irish small businesses have their websites run by this firm.

And now it's gone.

Bit of a late reply to this thread but there has been a lot of consolidation and takeovers in the Irish market. Host.ie was taken over a few years ago by a US operation. And if you think consolidation in the Irish market is bad, it is nothing compared to consolidation in the global market. Host.ie is still around though.
