Whats the big deal doesn't everyone use Direct X 12?
I have a GTX 1050 Ti graphics card in my desktop which was the cheapests half decent card about a year ago.
Plays everything I want it to which isn't much
On a laptop I wouldn't think of playing games.
Just checked and my second hand 6-7 year old Lenovo X240 Thinkpad has Direct X 12 installed and all thats got is a built in Intel HD Graphics.

Yeah, I ordered some new photo editing software a while ago and in the course of checking the recommended spec found that my 9-year-old supermarket-bought machine runs Direct X 12.
Must install the software one of these days and see if it works! But that's what winter's for.
