ICB will CEASE its credit reference service on FRIDAY, 1 OCTOBER 2021

As expected, following the government making the Central Credit Register (CCR) a mandatory thing, the private company providing similar services is now going out of business.
ICB will CEASE its credit reference service on FRIDAY, 1 OCTOBER 2021.

From the close of business on that day, ICB's credit records will no longer be available to its members for credit referencing purposes. ICB members will use the Central Credit Register (CCR) (operated by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Credit Reporting Act 2013) when lending. You can obtain a credit report from the Central Credit Register (CCR) which is:

As the purpose for retaining the credit records no longer exists, ICB will delete all its records shortly after 1 October 2021. Information relating to the deletion of personal data which forms part of ICB's records can be found in our Fair Processing Notice.
