There is no dispute from me that it was beyond crass. Which is why it received an on thread warning.

What action do you think it merited?

It was a thread that was obviously likely to allow someone to step in and cause offence. I say that because of two things one it was a RIP thread and secondly it related another site which some still find necessary to take every chance to have a pop at.

I'm not as precious about death and the dead as many here but even I found the remarks offensive.

I wonder if there should be some simple rules for RIP threads - If you don't have something good to say about the dead then don't say it.

That poster did the same in the Kerry Murder Suicide thread.....disgusting behaviour. I was so tired of reading that type thing in planks.ie amd hoped this place would not turn out the same. I rarely posted there for that reason, cos there'd be vultures in the wings. That poster scuttled off anyway.
