What condition is your dish? Are you sure your dish hasn't dropped slightly? Sky dishes are renowned for poor quality metal and usually look perfect from the ground but the j bracket can be ate alive with rust causing the dish to drop slightly taking it out of focus

It's Back in action, no action needed. Turned on again shortly after 4pm.
The JVC / Vestel tv remote needed to download and install an update.
Roll on BBC4 at 7, and NHK japanese tv.

Watch out for a very weird effect if there are any trees blocking the line of sight to the satellite. While reception may be perfect in Winter, in Spring and Summer, the horizontal channel may disappear with the vertical ones suffering slight degradation. This is due to leaves on trees blocking the horizontally polarised signals. The standard approach is to cut down the blockages.

You've had them. I've shed many a tear listening to English media trotting out the result as if it was yesterday, it was 56 years afo FFS. What's more, VAR would have disallowed the third goal. 8-)

How about travelling 40 miles to do a 3M dish installation and finding out that someone forgot to include the Jesus bolt with the dish hardware. :) Or being told that a few patio slabs would be sufficient to anchor a 1.7M dish. (They weren't and the dish and the slabs went airborne.) How about a 1.8M dish being set up on a reciprocal bearing (pointing North instead of South). Or a personal faourite, one of the guys who developed the algorithm that underlies much of the encryption on the Web claimed that the Sun would have burned out before anyone could hack a system for which he helped developed the encryption. It took less than 10 seconds.
