The pandemic of idiots

#1

Post by PogMoThoin »

My own antivax brother has gone full blown card carrying tinfoil hat brigade when he made a statement to my sister over Christmas "and Trump was robbed"

The pandemic of idiots is worse than the virus. There is no going back now, you've made yourself known! I'm not sure how we go on from here tbh!!

With the stunning rate that covid conspiracy theories are becoming fact, we will eagerly await you update on your brother in 6 months. Idiot or justified in his actions, time will tell.
Sure Justin Trudeau has stated that those not taking the vaccine are misogynists and racists, how he came to that stunning conclusion he did not share, but you are talking vaccine advice from him and his contemporaries? Idiots in suits.

This pandemic just shows up those (one either side, but one more so on one than the other  ) who are incapable of handling the fact that things change, that science evolves and that nature can't be dictated to.

The more idiotic ones of them als proudly announce said incapability at every opportunity, now matter how inappropriate. The real morons then start arguing over it until any and all signal gets drowned in noise.

Yes, I'm quite tired of it ...

They changed many rules at the last minute, such as allowing mail in voting and allowing votes that came in late. No country in the world allows mail in voting for everyone, except the US during the last presidential election. I guess this is what many people are describing as ‘being robbed’.

Of course if you allowed twitter’s first ever ‘misinformation warning’ to get drilled into your psyche( twitter’s first ever misinformation warning was slapped onto trump’s tweet about mail in voting https://www.reuters.com/article/us-twit ... SKBN232389) , that there is no problem with mail in voting, then please explain this image.

Blue :No postal voting system in place
Orange: Postal voting available only for some/all citizens abroad
Yellow: voting available for some/all citizens abroad, and for citizens at home meeting certain conditions
Green: Postal voting available for all citizens on demand

Trump was the one who is credited with project warpspeed*, much to the dismay of the ‘antivaxers’. If anyone remembers he was being slated for not having the vaccine out fast enough.

Always taught what they described as being robbed, was a deliberate vein of anti-intellectualism,egged on by politians, lacking leadership skills/stirring pot......equating it's senators per state,to electors for president

As by district/area trump cleaned up massively, but biden cleaned up in urban/heavily populated areas.......noone buys the idea of a stolen election, but like to waste opposition time.....there's studies to this effect with years in America of republicans, when push come to shove accept/admit reality, while happy to indulge in this type anti-intellectual trolling aswell

The fact democrats tie emselves up in engaging with em,is bizzare, but they use it as a excuse to stall progress/reform of their failing country

It had some justification in reality. Twitter were slapping misinformation warnings on his tweets for the first time.

Reuters: “ The move marked a dramatic shift for the social network, Trump’s primary tool for getting an unfiltered version of his message out to his political base, after years of permissive policies around content on its platform.”. Could this be described as robbed?

Remember that America was braced for violence after election night, with the expectation that trump would win. Violence that didn’t happen in his defeat.

Time magazine : “ It was all very, very strange,” Trump said on Dec. 2. “Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.

In a way, Trump was right.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans.”.

It seems this narrative is not just confined to Trump loving media.

The yanks are always abit nonsensical with their hyperbole ...braced for violence,or that afternoon riot they labeled an insurrection or that twitter would fall apart within days of musk taking over it....the world police are a joke🤣🤣

The big unsaid thing,is trump/republicans railed against postal voting*....and it played out these were the pivotal to winning and always going to be a factor given the disasterous COVID waves sweeping America at the time....alongside convenience.......it's all abit like when Clinton supporters screamed house down after losing to trump years ago, despite winning popular vote.....you play by the rules of the day,and if you lose, you lose, you need accept reality not lean on anti-intellectualism to bluster through

That being said, the fact himself and biden both wish to rerun again next time is grim, two lads with one foot each in the grave have no business running a country imo

*That being said trump had a unbelievable election result, all things considered and it was far from a rejection of his position
