In actual fact I now think allowing broader immunity to have occured to the original wild virus while sheltering the vulnerable would have been better than full scale lockdowns and what has happened epidemiologically by interfering in a pandemic with mass vaccination - and I was a very enthusiastic lock downer! I think I was wrong in the light of what is happening now.

Sweden tried this. Didn't work out really.

Ultimately that will result in what happened in any number of poor countries which just ignored it.

Id recommend everyone get vaccinated against it, the same way we recommend getting the flu jab each xmas.

I do not have to prove any long term adverse effects. Those, if present, should become apparent after the Covid vaccine trials are finalised and the data analysed. (There are worrying reports of adverse effects in the public domain.)

Until then it would be advisable to bear in mind that the Covid vaccines are NOT at the same level as the 'flu vaccines ..... at least not until the Covid vaccine trials are complete.

I have no idea to what pictures from Facebook you refer, as I definitely have not posted any in this thread.

Figures from Public Health England say 55% of people hospitalised with the delta variant were unvaccinated, while nearly 35% had received two doses of a vaccine.
Now consider what percentage of the population in the UK are fully Vaccinated and that 35% is looking even worst than at first look, the Vaccines are not doing as advertised and unknow medium to long terms effect are waiting to be revealed.
