Jonjoe the miser will be disappointed.
In the bombing of Serbia 1999 a F-117A the stealth bomber, was shot down by antiquated 70's soviet missiles, it killed sales before they started, fast forward to today and the US MIC is pumping out weapons for sale to the EU to counter the evil Russians.
BILLIONS of $$$ are being spent on suspect airplanes and weapons, the F-22 is a disaster but EU countries are queuing up to buy them
https://militarywatchmagazine.com/artic ... -old-f-15s
The US MIC will not risk a F-22 being shot down by Russia, it would kill sales stone dead.
Not only that but the Russians are capturing large amounts of NATO anti tank weapons , the Ukrainian soldiers say they dont work , they are hitting Russian tanks 3, 4,5 times and they are still functional.
We in the west have the greed of bankers and the MIC to thank for no WW3, they want to sell weapons, and if these weapon are no match for the Russian opponents, there will be no WW3.

1) the F117 was only ever a small run specialised project and was never intended for wider use and certainly not overseas sales. Much of it is still classified to this day.
2) anti tank weapons need time and distance to stabilise before they arm. In the video you link we don't know what type of weapon is being deployed(it looks unguided, point an shoot type) and it's too close to the tank. There are far more vidoes and from both sides showing Russian tanks going up like firecrackers(ditto in Syria).
3) Russian tank design is considered by experts and operators throughout the world as being at best troublesome, at worst potential deathtraps. That BTW includes one of the Russian tank designers. Their ammunition arrangement is beyond retarded, set in an unprotected ring around the crew in one of the most cramped tank interiors there is. There's a reason we see so many Russian and Ukrainian operated tanks with the turret laying ten metres or more beyond what was the hull. Their top armour protection is the thinnest of any main battle tank in operation today(the crews know it too, hence the homemade cages on top of many of them). Their anti missile defence is also below par. As are their tactics. You see time and time again Russian tanks with little or no infantry support and tanks need infantry support like a fish needs water, or they're sitting ducks with low visibility and limited movement. Up against Abrams or Merceva Russian T series tanks would be utterly outclassed.
4) In any sort of engagement where actual western forces were involved against Russian of forces using Russian equipment and tactics on land or in the air they would be utterly routed. In just one area alone they're completely outclassed; night fighting. Look at Russian troops and compare them to American or British or French and you will notice one difference; almost no night vision gear among the Russian forces. Russian aircraft are pretty cool, especially their latest fighter jets with thrust vectoring and all that. However modern engagements would be over the horizon, something Russian avionics is way behind on. They'd never see the Western fighter's missile that brought them down. Even their GPS is so below par and unreliable they've had to use the American system and gaffer taped an available on Amazon GPS reciever to their dashboards.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Minimum arming distance.

Ukranian pilots know Mig-29’s and similar, not F-22’s.

This stuff is not difficult to grasp, for most people.

Why do you struggle to understand simple things?

That's an interesting turn of phrase....the whole thing has been propaganda since the beginning from both sides and somewhere in the fog is the truth. It's just the old saying 'The first casualty of War is Truth' coming home again. I believe very little being churned out by either side and their cheerleaders in the media and the only person to say anything sensible was the statement by the UN Secretary General who described the war as "an absurdity". https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/ ... st-century

The World faces a massive range of problems from over population to catastrophic climate change and all that Putin, Biden, NATO and the Chinese have to offer is war.....

We have definitely entered a new stage of the media war, sanctions are starting to really hurt the EU, the Russians are grinding out a win and nothing but the entry of NATO into the war can stop them, so we can see the media spin is changing, give it a few months and Ukrainians will be persona non grata in the EU.
Already we have in Czech republic. shops have signs up , No Ukrainians allowed inside due to shoplifting
Ukrainians getting evicted from hotels in Poland for damaging the hotel
Free public transport is being rescinded from Ukrainians in east Europe

The media has been painting the Ukrainians as the good guys
The USA sending Billions of dollars over there
USA full of God fearing bible thumping tax payer, and its their money been sent, i wonder how they will feel about supporting this..

Russia does not use GPS they use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GLONASS probably testing GPS to see how it compares.
Interesting fact, if you ever did Geocaching you probably have a hand held GPS device, in setting you can switch between GPS, GLONASS and the EU Galileo system, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_( ... avigation)
I expected better from you, i'm disappointed.
