Following on from a string of controversies affecting the psni and reported widespread sectarianism internally (including leaking of catholic officer details)


The fact it has been caught bugging journalists investigating collusion cases,is a fairly massive scandal going under rader and not covered by establishment media here

I would look at home first - the Gardai are in as much danger of collapse as the PSNI. I often wonder how the Irish State and its security services would have coped if they had been under the same pressure as the RUC/PSNI for 30+ years. The Gardai have a manpower crisis, an equipment crisis, a morale and leadership crisis....
