Not much gender theory down on the farm. When an animal is born it is basically turned over and the theory stops at that point. For gender theory to be an issue for humans is probably down to our achilles heel the ability for abstract thought, along with very human issues such as schizophrenia.
Much of the rest may be a form of narcissism and the idea that a human gets to control its gender which is a rocky platform in and of itself.
As for the idea that a 13-15 year old can decide what gender it is or should be well that is likely to be a form of adolescent dysphoria and probably not the least of the ideas around transformation and the grass being greener the further away it is that occurs to the adolescent mind out of a soup of hormones and growth struggles.
You wouldn't invite a 13-15 year old into an operating theatre to give their views on suitable treatment on any other condition so quite why the notion that this is a suitable process when it comes to gender identification is an interesting one.
