Mainstream Media is being deserted by the public

Don't see the same respect for the news today that there was years ago, probably because its not reporting the new but giving us opinions, trying to direct the way the public thinks and not in a subtle way, could be a reason why the likes of joe Rogan are so popular, get a guest on and ask them question, then let the audience make up there own mind, the way the news should be, report the facts and not your own bias.
The news now makes a big deal over who the presenter is, why would that matter? Who cares who is reading the teleprompter, unless of course they are trying to build a bond with the audience and try direct their world view in a certain way, not very good for democracy in my opinion.
The good news is that the public seem to be rejecting the main stream media and going for independent sources, not just for news but for reviews of TV shows, movies, video games and everything else available on the internet. These reviews have millions of views and can be the polar opposite of the main stream media positive reviews, the independent sources call out a crap product and you can see in the comments people saying the media must have been bribed to give a good review and agree 100% with the independent reviews.
Big changes needed to the news, its more and more obvious every day they are bought and paid for by special interests and the public are seeking new sources.
How Does CNN get so much attention, its practically irrelevant, definitely something fishy going on.
