Was just looking up the origins of this gender crap. I was genuinely shocked to learn about John Money, the guy who coined this stuff about gender identity and gender theory also coined the word “paraphilia”, in the 50s and 60s. He was a sick bastard. There was probably some French philosophers who toyed with the idea too previously.

He believed that gender was learned rather than innate and he was also a big advocate for paedophilia. Perhaps these ideas have been associated since their emergence.

Money also touted the case of David Reiner a success, despite him going public with his case to discourage it happening to anyone else. Reiner committed suicide at the age of 38. Money had been involved with sexual role playing practices with Reiner when he was a child also.

Maya Forstater has won her case against her former employer at the London employment tribunal after 3 years of legal challenges. The tribunal agrees that a person cannot be discriminated against for holding gender critical beliefs, they are legally protected beliefs like other beliefs. Thus when Maya said that biological sex is immutable she should not have been discriminated against for her beliefs.

Sex is immutable. It cannot be changed.

The thing is though it's such a growing area, the transgender experience. It encompasses so much variation. I see stories all the time about trans people who are just trying to live their lives, and I feel for them. They have kids, they have dysphoria, they just want good health care, to get on with things.

But then their stories are juxtaposed by others I see where obviously porn addled perverts are brazenly pushing their way into intimate spaces, I mean seriously crazy, deranged looking individuals that anyone, man or woman, would be terrified to share private spaces with.

How is this spectrum to be accommodated?? How is safeguarding to be maintained?

I think at the very least we have to agree on the ground rules of reality. Sex exists. There are particular experiences unique to the different sexes. And sex is immutable.
And from these ground rules we can accommodate people in a civilised way.
