Gender Theory Thread
Re: Gender Theory Thread
There were more of us, but not by a huge margin. Protestors were supported by diverse groups like Rape Crisis NI, Unite the Union, NI Rural Women's Network, Women's Council of Ireland. All of which is sad. So many NGOs are completely captured.nlgbbbblth wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 10:28 pm Fair play for going Isha
Presume the protestors were well outnumbered?
Protestors were in two groups, one at a Songs for Solidarity meeting further away and one beside us. The ones beside us were smaller in numbers than us but I was aware that the other group might eventually join them, which some at least did. That was why I left early. I was worried about the dispersal and the groups interacting.
There was zero threat from our group to theirs but they non stop chanted loudly eg calling us Nazis etc. What surprised me is how many of the protesters are men.
There were men with us too, but far fewer and many of them fell back to the outside of the gathering when it started, in an obviously defensive position. The only cordon we had to enter through were female stewards. They were amazing, very brave.
Not many police were on our side of the square, just a minimally necessary presence if they had to fall back to stop a protest coming at us from a different angle, and they stayed at a distance. But there was a very large police presence in front of the protesters and making a buffer zone. Any protestors who tried to come towards us were quickly encircled and escorted back.
Technically it felt safe because of such a large police presence, but most people I spoke to had made some mental preparation to defend themselves if there was violence. New Zealand was prominent in people's minds The idea of things being possibly thrown at us or people breaking through to punch was talked about often. People were alert. And spoke about their nervousness.
I am 100% sure many did not come because they were afraid. I was afraid to go. I was sure I wouldn't go, and was a bit weirded out to find myself in the process of going!! So glad I did. By chance I met four of my Twitter mutuals, all exceptionally lovely women, got to have some great chats, and when I left early some tough Mancunian women walked me out.
These are some photos of the protesters against us. I do find it odd how many males want to be there screaming at women.
Thinking out loud, and trying to be occasionally less wrong...

Fair play for going, and of course a lot of them are wearing masks, amazing how the mental illness of covidians seems to strongly overlap with the gender ideology far left bullshit.
What happened in NZ was terrifying - to me the most disturbing thing is that the police PURPOSEFULLY stayed away, they WANTED Posie Parker to be killed.
All cheered on by the likes of Jacinda Adhern - a dangerous dangerous authoritarian c*nt.
I see people like her as massive threats to the future of humanity.

It's amazing how these degenerates use super extreme stereotypes for trans issues, yet this is a no no when it comes to maybe predicting interests in certain careers/hobbies based on gender ???

Just say Posie was not in attendance - and this was just a standard #LetWomenSpeak march with no controversial guests.
I think you'd still have as many protestors / NGOs / neckbeards who would find some other reason to call you names.

I'm sure the activists think we are all oul ones, and indeed there are a lot of experienced women who have raised families and learned from life that things aren't always rosy between the sexes. (Though I was delighted to see a good many younger women showing up. )There are a lot of fairly butch lesbians, so I'm sure the other side might have something to say about that too. I think they are awesome, these women who give no fcks. There are also very feminine lesbians! Basically a lot of lesbians. I enjoy lesbian company, I've somehow happened to know a lot of lesbians in my life! Interesting straightforward women, even though I'm heterosexual. I say this about our side to point out we are not a posse of supermodels by any means and the opposing protestors often do remark about us gender critical women as being older and it's true on the whole. We are a grown up tribe. Nonetheless I can't help but notice that the often younger protesters opposing women speaking tend to be unusually odd looking, kind of weird dweebs and misfits with a certain typical physiognomy. It's just unavoidable to notice they are not that groovy as a group. A serious shortage of studs. Maybe that's what has young female trans activists so grumpy. Yup, I'm that asshole.

Yeah I seen that one. I agree with most of his stuff that I seen but yes he does come across as a complete dick .Cyclepath wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 10:17 am I'm not a huge fan of Matt Walsh as he can be particularly unpleasant at times, but he scores so many direct hits against the madness. In a recent debate he silenced a trans paramedic by asking him what he'd do if a transwoman presented claiming they were having a miscarriage.

Absolutely , Mat does hit the nail on the head re: trans issues, and he uses Science as his strongman .... hmm don't think he'd use Science as a backup if the biological discussion turned toward natural selection and evolution !!Seanybiker wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 4:09 am Yeah I seen that one. Since he's a conservative christian and all.
Thats why you need to have a mix of views and not go all in with one side ...

I'm a massive ally to the gay community but I have to admit my "focus" if you will would be gay men, I get them - they get me, we just hit it off and I started my allyhood defending people dying of a brutal disease.isha wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 8:37 pm I'm sure the activists think we are all oul ones, and indeed there are a lot of experienced women who have raised families and learned from life that things aren't always rosy between the sexes. That being said, I of course back lesbians 100% - especially now. I feel so desperately sorry for young girls now who might be ready to come out, and take their first steps into the community and as well as everything else they have to face, they have six foot misogynistic nutjobs wearing a bit of eyeliner and telling them to have straight sex with them as they are now "a lesbian too" - or face accusations of various phobias. If opffering a role in a Hollywood blockbuster and patting a hotel room bed is rape (a la Weinstein) then wtf is coercing a woman into sex by saying "hey we're both girls" (spoiler alert, also rape).
For years I wouldn't say I was a feminist as I felt closer to men - when girls at school would bully me, lads I played football with would tell me to tell them to fck off. But now I am - I am a feminist as I see a group of men trying to shoehorn their way into every right that we have earned, that people died for.
Isha - lots more power to you for going, we're just old school normal people who believe you can dress how you want, feel how you want, to quote JKR "sleep with any consenting adult who will have you" and you are what you are - no need for 103 made up labels.

I get it. No problems at all with rainbow per se. And it's cheerful. My big issue is the astroturfing and coat tailing on the rainbow stuff of child medicalisation, males in females sports and prisons, the overthrow of truth and reason that is now involved in LGBTQIA+ etc.

No chance - there wil be loads of special "exemptions" on religious grounds - but only certain religions.

Oh, there'll be exemptions! Can't wait to see how the various idealogical interest groups intermingle. Also can't wait til the first trans Garda takes a case under the Garda Compensation Act for injuries caused by misgendering. Words are violence folks!PlaneSpeeking wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 10:27 am You think ?
