Was Prince Philip really Prince Harry's grandfather?

I've been spending an embarrassing amount of time recently reading articles about Prince Harry, most of which are accompanied by photos of Prince Harry. Hence I have spent an embarrassing amount of time looking at photos of Prince Harry. The more photos I saw, the more I was struck by the resemblance to Prince Philip.

Of course I am not the first to notice this. Googling this subject reveals it has been remarked on extensively, oftenas proof that Harry is definitely Prince Charles' son quashing rumours of the pregnancy being a result of any extra-marital affair.

Hmmm. There is another possibility to explain the resemblance....

What we know for sure:

• Prince Philip was a legendary ladies man, with a wandering eye who liked beautiful women and they liked him.
  Princess Diana was a beautiful woman, unhappy in her marriage because her husband was having an affair.
  Prince Philip and Diana were close, she described him as a shoulder to cry on.
  Harry is a September baby, 9 months after Christmas when Philip and Diana were both staying at Sandringham for Christmas.

So we have means, motive and opportunity. Is it really completely implausible that Prince Philip was actually Prince Harry's father, rather than grandfather?

They are very alike. Which as posters note is not unusual. Though who knows what really goes on! Stranger things, for sure.

We recently found a photo of my father in law's grandfather and he is the spitting image of one of my sons. It's a bit freaky to be honest to see the genes create their copies over 100 years apart.

And no....I didn't
