Re: Israel and Palestine
Since October 7th antisemitism is on the rise worldwide. Not just anti Zionism, real white supremacy type of hate, nazi symbols, mentions of gas chambers, hissing and attacks on Jews and their property worldwide.

The western media takes seriously a 'fierce debate' about a comma because it helps us to avoid confronting a simple truth: The monsters are us
by Jonathan Cook Posted onJune 03, 2024
Israel’s claim that a single comma exempts it from having to respect the International Court of Justice’s order last week to immediately halt its murderous attack on Rafah should be ridiculed.
Those genocidal butchers would be funny if they were not so disgustingly horrible.

Re: Israel and Palestine
This lady (Joan Donoghue) was head of the ICJ when the case was brought so when she says, “no they didn’t rule that genocide is taking place” and people here conveniently ignore her, the only inference is that facts mean nothing to these people.
https://rozenberg.substack.com/p/top-ju ... ects-mediaIt didn’t decide, and this is something I’m correcting what’s often said in the media, it didn’t decide that the claim of genocide was plausible.
Re: Israel and Palestine
Now that Israel has investigated itself for murdering 40+ civilians in temporary accommodation, it has concluded it was down to poor planning. Yep. That's why all those people died.
Now that they have used that excuse, what will they claim for other massacres?
Possibly ... 'it was the Palestinians fault for being next to where we bombed'.
It would not surprise me!
BUT, remember, "it is not genocide" when the Israelis do it!
Israeli probe blames Rafah tent massacre on 'poor planning'
An Israeli airstrike on a makeshift camp sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza killed 45, including many women and children,
https://thecradle.co/articles/israeli-p ... r-planningThe Israeli military has blamed its massacre of 45 Palestinians in a makeshift encampment in Rafah last week on “poor planning,” including the failure to check if civilians were living in metal shacks next to those housing Israel's alleged targets.
Haaretz reported on 3 June that “Satellite images and an Israeli army probe indicate that the IDF failed to properly evaluate the damage that last week's strike on two senior Hamas officials would cause, leading to the deaths of at least 40 Palestinians in the southern Gazan city of Rafah.”
Now that they have used that excuse, what will they claim for other massacres?

News coming in that Israel has again used phosphorus bombs this time in Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon.

This guy breaks it down. I didn't know the last bit about Palestinian's having the legal right to any and all resistance weather it's indiscriminate or precise. That whole line nullifies anything anyone has to say about Oct 7th.

When you consider all the other despicable things they've done, it's no surprise that book burning is on their résumé. The IOF is pathetic.
Re: Israel and Palestine
This is a long article detailing some of the abuses and tortures that Palestinian hostages suffer while detained by Israeli forces.Inside the Base Where Israel Has Detained Thousands of Gazans
It is not the only such report but is indicative of what those Israeli "most moral army" personnel are like.
The world will be a better place when that Zionist experiment is disbanded/eliminated and the full weight of international law is brought to bear not only on the leaders but also on those who carry out their bidding.
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/06/worl ... -base.htmlMr. al-Hamlawi, the senior nurse, said a female officer had ordered two soldiers to lift him up and press his rectum against a metal stick that was fixed to the ground. Mr. al-Hamlawi said the stick penetrated his rectum for roughly five seconds, causing it to bleed and leaving him with “unbearable pain.”
A leaked draft of the UNRWA report detailed an interview that gave a similar account. It cited a 41-year-old detainee who said that interrogators “made me sit on something like a hot metal stick and it felt like fire,” and also said that another detainee “died after they put the electric stick up” his anus.
Mr. al-Hamlawi recalled being forced to sit in a chair wired with electricity. He said he was shocked so often that, after initially urinating uncontrollably, he then stopped urinating for several days. Mr. al-Hamlawi said he, too, had been forced to wear nothing but a diaper, to stop him from soiling the floor.
Ibrahim Shaheen, 38, a truck driver detained in early December for nearly three months, said he was shocked roughly half a dozen times while sitting in a chair. Officers accused him of concealing information about the location of dead hostages, Mr. Shaheen said.
Mr. Bakr also said he was forced to sit in chair wired with electricity, sending a current pulsing through his body that made him pass out.

UN to place Israel on blacklist alongside ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko
Haram: Report
https://thecradle.co/articles/un-to-pla ... ram-reportIsraeli officials failed to lobby the UN against the move, which they describe as 'highly problematic' as it could lead to countries imposing an arms embargo on Tel Aviv
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is expected to include Israel in the annual blacklist of countries and organizations harming children in conflict zones, according to reports in Israeli media.
Hebrew-language Channel 13 News reported late on 6 June that Guterres has informed Israeli army Defense Attaché in the US, Major General Hidai Zilberman, of his “final decision.”
Israel will reportedly appear on the blacklist to be published next week as part of a report distributed to UN Security Council members. A discussion on the report will take place on June 26.
According to Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel's “efforts to persuade Guterres to avoid this move have failed.”
If this occurs then it could be problematic for the Zionist regime as it could mean countries imposing arms embargo on Israel.“Gaza is becoming a graveyard for children. Hundreds of girls and boys are reportedly being killed or injured every day,” Guterres said last November. “More journalists have reportedly been killed over a four-week period than in any conflict in at least three decades."
Let us hope it happens like that!

Since October 7th, Israel has dropped more than 70000 tons of bombs on people in the Gaza Strip, which is much more than the combined bombs dropped on Dresden, Hamburg and London during the Second World War.

The death cult has rejected the ceasefire proposed by Biden and agreed to by Israel. They prefer to keep the hostages for themselves instead of protecting the innocent people of Palestine. Every country in the world would go hell for leather after hostage takers and people that abet them, even their own citizens and everybody knows it. Just look at any hostage taking ever.

It's rare enough to see any world leaders speak out against the establishment rich and powerful anymore.....the slaughter and genocide in Gaza is largely because they are poor, the same way the government here treats people in my own area with contempt for being poor, everything beneficial is to help the rich always

US army aided Israel in bloody military op launched from Gaza 'Aid Pier'
The operation saw the mass killing of over 200 Palestinians, with health officials describing the inside of Al-Aqsa Hospital as a 'slaughterhouse'
In addition there were USA military personnel directly involved on the ground as well as airborne.A video shared widely by Hebrew Telegram channels on 8 June shows that the Israeli army made use of the US-built pier installed in central Gaza as part of a bloody rescue operation that saw the killing of at least 210 Palestinians in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Irish army personnel trained with both US and Israeli Defence Forces in the past in that region of the world, which might not surprise you.

Not a surprise .... it is just another indication of how the Irish political class is positioned.
Re: Israel and Palestine
Wait until you read how Irish troops in an EU "battle group" helped train Wagner assisted/linked paramilitaries in Mali, whom went onto massacre near entire villages
The entire establishment here and in the EU covers this up (I only learned of this when living overseas),and now wants to do away with neutrality, when they have a piss poor record of holding emselves to account already

Just a couple of recent examples posted on Telegram which clearly show the intentions of the Zionists and also the support those intentions receive from the Israeli population.

Well then.... turns out Israel KNEW of the imminent attack. Despite that they EXTENDED the music festival.
They knowingly LET IT HAPPEN. Why would that be? Perhaps because it would provide some sort of perverted 'justification' for their actions that followed?

Isreal army chief admits hamas can't be destroyed
Their stated objectives of destruction of hamas (illegal btw to topple government of another country),and return of hostages havnt be achieved,it was always bullshit excuse to let troops loose on a captive population who can't escape

The internet is live with rumours of Israeli casualties of 23,000plus troops killed/injured,with upto 7,000 life altering injuries

Re: Israel and Palestine
Israel is suffering greatly at this time.
Huge numbers (for them) of their soldiers have been killed or wounded or require assistance for their mental state.
The replacements/reservists have little or no combat experience and lack serious training. Having seen what has happened in the last 8.5 months they are not clamouring to join the fight.
In the North a large number of settlers have had to be evacuated as Hezbullah targets Israeli military bases. Meanwhile the Yemenies are targeting shipping associated with Israel and its supporters. They sank a couple of ships recently. All that of course means that Israeli economy is being hit badly.
Israel is sounding off about opening a full conflict in the North. Hezbullah has responded warning Israel not to, as they have new weapons and large stock piles.
Then of course there is the matter of Hezbullah's drone taking video of Israeli installations and the ships at port.
The question remains unanswered how this drone was not detected and destroyed. There is no info about how many times such a drone entered Israeli controlled airspace and how much information Hezbullah now has about Israeli defences and military installations.
There can be no doubt that Hezbullah has sufficient knowledge about the positions of the various installations to do great damage if they have the weapons to reach the installations. Indications are they have received such weapons and are prepared to use them. I would be surprised if Iran has not supplied them with some. This might yet develop into a wider regional conflict, which could easily develop into WW III should Iran and USA get directly involved.
So after 8.5 months of all out destruction in Gaza, Israel has not achieved any of its stated targets. Its military is not set up for such long conflicts and is now flagging badly. Of course if its real target was the death or expulsion of the majority of Palestinians Israel has made a great start, with in excess of 37,000 people killed and another 100,000 injured or maimed.
Maybe Israel will achieve one target, albeit not one they want -- the complete destruction of the Zionist project in Palestine.
One can hope.
