Benefits of a post-covid society

Post by WokeHogan »

By "post-covid society" I mean after were an in a pandemic stage and covid has been assimilated into our normal lifestyles.

I personally believe that people will be more cognisant of their health, there will be a tightening of drinking laws, and that the idea of going to a pub and drinking yourself into a stupor will be as taboo as smoking in the office or smacking your kids.

I am a teetotaler and nothing sickened me (before covid) than when I used to go jogging on a Saturday night and see tavern after tavern stuffed to the rafters with people puking or pissing on each other. Headlocks. You can almost guarantee that if fewer people drank that there would be less domestic violence and sexual assaults.

Worse still were the old people wasting their days away in the pub getting pissed on their own. I'm over 60 myself and I can genuinely not imagine a worse way to spend you autumn years. I predict that scenes like these will be a thing of the past in just a few short years.

What do you think will be the benefits of a post-covid society?

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
