It always annoyed me about Rolf, I liked him when I was a kid, unlike Saville who I always found to be a creep, this guy managed to hide it well.

I used to love the way he'd use a 4 inch brush to daub some shapeless mass on a page and then, with a flourish, would turn it sideways or upside down to reveal a perfect portrait or structure. Amazing talent.

I was happy to see that Detective John Caldwell has made enough of a recovery to be out and about recently. Good news.
Eleven people have also been arrested in connection with his shooting.

This MUPPET won't be flying anywhere anytime soon again. I'm sure if he were flying on Ryanair and did that, Mic O'Leary would have something nice lined up for him.

That's just a shocking thing to happen. A child's grave desecrated. The ignorant hatred involved in that.

Almost 300 dead in the Indian train crash.
There was a crash in 1981 in India where 800 people died. Insane. Having travelled a fair bit on Indian trains I know they can be unbelievably crowded. Over 900 are injured with this three train collision. It's hard to comprehend the kind of numbers in a train crash but it is such a populous place- just so completely different than here.

These people should be named and shamed:
Neighbours in a salubrious southside Dublin suburb demanded €225,000 each to not object to planning permission for a housing development.

The written request has been referred to gardaí after the property developer reported a potential fraud.

It lifts the lid on the practice of “go away money” payments for dropping objections to planning in the housing crisis.

The homeowners all work in highly reputable positions, including a senior executive in a prestigious professional services firm, the director of an international company and a member of a state board.
And as if that wasn't bad enough:
The group also proposed to bring an offer to other residents along the road, but this would not be for cash, merely for boundary changes. In effect, their own neighbours would not be getting the same benefit.

I heard this on the radio today - being named and shamed is the least of their problems as they may find themselves falling foul of the law.

I'd love to think this was done in a spirit of altruism by the developer but try as I might....

Interesting there - now I suffer from general anxiety disorder and so I am not unsympathetic but when people have been killed, others are critically ill and fighting and some have life changing injuries, to read "one victim had an anxiety attack".

Fck right off out of that!!! Self self self!

It should fit tightly to your face to work well as a filter. They are not designed to fit children though, officials caution.
Hilarious coming from the BBC, after for 2.5 years they peddled the lie that kids as young as 2 need to be wearing a mask all day in creches...

Apparently he was some sort of 'Christian' religious loon but if he had been sent back to his own country (ten years ago) the incident would not have occurred.

I can understand my friend being upset but he taking it out on me me.

Id say just ignore the messages

sure your friend isn't to blame for the uncle...what's he wanting, you to defend his uncle/stop people speaking on it.......let em vent and simply never speak of the messages again,
