Soccer is a gentleman's game played by gurriers, rugby is a gurrier's game played by gentlemen and GAA is a gurrier's game played by gurriers. Certainly if the carry-on, melee or argy-bargy that took place at the Under-15s match between Carnew and Kilcoole at the weekend is anything to go by some of the supporters fall into that category - whatever about the unfortunate players.

Is it true what some say about the GAA?
Re: Is it true what some say about the GAA?
These scenes are not unusual. It's just someone recorded this and posted online. I was at an U16's match a few weeks ago and parents from the same team came to blows with each other. People take it far far too serious.

Down this neck of the woods the carry-on when some kids team wins a match is unreal with cars speeding through the town horns blaring and kids sitting out windows screaming. I never look out anymore ask I quite expect some child to end up falling from a car.
'no more blah blah blah'

Looks like a whole pile of nothing really. The accent on the one filming is the most sickening thing about it, did she get lost on the way to the rogby?

Its Wickla GAA, there's a reason they win feck all at county level, too busy pucking the head off each other.
