Potential gold on the Lavhline today as the Duffmeister tries to whip up hysteria about the Harry & Meghan TV programmes....Dinosaur 'republican' and regular on the show, John O'Donovan from Cork, given yet more airtime. Expect all the lower end of the gene pool to ring in.
Pondlife reinforcements to the rescue.

The level of anti-Britishness and racism is quite stunning from these great 'republicans'.

I turned it off but the bigotry, racism, ignorance and narrow mindedness is outstanding. If they heard some of the same being said on the BBC but changing "British" for "Irish", they would be the first complaining.

I hear Joe on the radio interviewing Harry Kane on Grafton Street, time to get out of the house.

Gold on Lavhline today as Joe "Attenborough" Duffy tackles the explosion in the deer population. Told by one caller if he saw one Muntjac deer he would have an infestation the Dufoon asked "of what". €450k per annum folks.
Another gem - "we don't eat venison" in Ireland according to Duffy - I must ask my butcher what he has been selling me for years.
Should we reintroduce bears and wolves is another intelligent suggestion from our TCD graduate. He also thought putting down pesticides could be the answer.....
Joe says "no grass in the Phoenix Park" so no Lyme's Disease.

Classic gold today as the dopey, rude, bad tempered host spent the entire show discussing tampons and golf - two matters that he clearly knows a lot about. I suspect RTE's lawyers may be busy after his references to Tiger Woods thus: "A billionaire dope like Tiger Woods". Worth listening back.

Lord Boucher-Hayes in for Joe today and right into the middle of the debate on grooming (my take) literature now being made available in libraries. PBH clueless as usual and shouldn't be allowed near this topic. If my own kids were still library going age I'd be removing the books too.

A truly dreadful presenter. I would question how he is still employed. But then again it's RTE we're talking aboutDel.Monte wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 2:14 pm Lord Boucher-Hayes in for Joe today and right into the middle of the debate on grooming (my take) literature now being made available in libraries. Just listening to the usual introduction on Loise Duffy and apparently, PBH is going to start a campaign today for Good Friday to be made a Bank Holiday. Now I know I'm getting old and dotty but to my knowledge, Good Friday has been a Bank Holiday for many years, not a Public Holiday mind you, but you'd think that somebody with a double barrelled surname and a plummy accent would know that.

Joe using program today to provide a valiant defence for Tubbs.
Very upset woman on railing about what a ' pack of hounds ' the Oireachtas committee are in investigating this.

Re: Joe Duffy's Liveline: otherwise sometimes known as Deathline
Sunday 3rd September just before Radio 1 "This Week" an extended plug for Joe's MUCK in an advert
As if the current controversies about Dee Forbes and Ryan never existed.
ffs, RTE's way of laughing off what the average punter thinks.

Re: Joe Duffy's Liveline: otherwise sometimes known as Deathline
On Friday (1st Sept) I flicked on the show having not had it on recently but it was "unfunny" Friday - supposed to be the last Friday of the month....anyway as the horror of my mistake dawned I quickly switched off the radio. Where does he get an audience for these awful junkets?

My brother loves it, he has the same sort of sense of humour too ... he'll tell us some of the jokes he heard on FF and piss himself laughing as he tells them .... to be greeted with blank stares ..Del.Monte wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 7:52 pm On Friday (1st Sept) I flicked on the show having not had it on recently but it was "unfunny" Friday - supposed to be the last Friday of the month....anyway as the horror of my mistake dawned I quickly switched off the radio.
