Sunflower seeds

Just got a big bag of them. Thought you could just munch on them but you need to crack the husk off first. The seeds themselves are very small. A lot of work but their healthy I suppose. Most of them don't have that much flavour but the ones that do are pretty tasty.
It's going to take me weeks to get through this bag. :lol:

Very popular with birds but I wouldn't have thought there was enough in them to be bothered with for human consumption - enjoy!

As a young culchie in the very early days of my hitchhiking in Europe I disgraced myself in front of posh Spanish people by trying to eat the salted sunflower seeds they offered me, shells and all.

^^^ I did that the first time I ate sushi with friends in Chicago, but it was edamame. Lol.
