Maybe one of Ciara’s black cousins may get the roll.

I thought he would be there for life.

Maybe he's going to go for President when Michael D steps down and he needs to get ready.

Hopefully his replacement will have seen at least one Johnny Carson Tonight Show.
Although I have a good idea of the type they'll go for.

Bertie is next president, stepping down because he is too white.

Pat Kenny reckons the next presenter will be a woman. Why not give it to Panti Bliss?

Praise be for that news.

I can see it going to Miriam O'Callaghan. RTE have her doing everything else

One thing is guaranteed, RTE will give the job to one of their talentless arseholes

Lottie Ryan springs to mind, another moronic product of nepotism that RTÉ adores. Turgidy was clearly pushed out the gate, perhaps his successor will tone down the perverse misery fixation and restore 'light entertainment' to the forefront.

I think every village/town subsection should be in a lottery to get to see which village decides who hosts the late late show. A draw every week with a run in period of a couple of weeks. Then if/when your village gets drawn, local people can put themselves forward and the villagers have a polling day immediately to elect who goes forward as host. Have this happen on a rolling basis so that every week from now till Kingdom come, some villager from somewhere hosts the show.
Thinking out loud, and trying to be occasionally less wrong...

I for one would be more than happy to watch old westerns or gangster movies on a Friday night than spend another cent on this garbage.

I haven’t watched RTE since Youtube and Netflix arrived on the interwebs.

The Late Late Show is a close second place with the Angelus for outdated and irrelevant taxpayer funded broadcasting.

Programming for people who’d make three mugs of tea with the same teabag; Miserable oul’ feckers.

A kick in the goolies would be more entertaining.

Looks like Clare Byrne is getting the gig. They should be the final nail in the coffin of the show
