The Irish Light "newspaper"

#1

Post by quodec »

Got a copy of The Irish Light co-called newspaper through the letterbox recently. It appears to be Ms O'Doherty and Mr Waters at the helm of its editorial team. It's full of the usual anti this, anti that and all the conspiracy stuff you can think of. But my question is, who finances its publication, if its being mail-dropped free throughout the country? Somebody on the political fringes in this country or perhaps money from abroad?

Oh ffs.
That. Got it in February 2022 and never since.

Irish people should completelyignore the ukrain Russian war. The Ukrainians were wrong.

Got in the porch.

Funnily enough had Russian national contractor and his son working on our house's main bathroom renovation. Turned out a botch job. My poor Dad was in hospital at the time. He came home finally in early June 2022. Passed away in December 2022.

Well, they're still doing the rounds with it, so certain people still think it's worthwhile to get it out there. If you throw enough **** at the wall, some of it is going to stick!

I'd imagine the distribution is quiet cheap,as O'Doherty has built up a massive online following across a spectrum of issues,if you include a bit of something for everyone they feel strong about....you'll find people motivated enough to get their POV out there (I left one on counter in work for the lolz),and they'll distribute it/deliver it

I used help deliver a political newspaper round for a lad I known who was in jail at the time, years ago before I left.....you'll be surprised what can be done for small enough money

The "Irish Shite" newspaper is not worth reading. The usual conspiracy bullshit Gem Gem pumps out. I would not refuse a copy if someone offers me one- it is probably still good enough to start the fire with.

It is incredible insane stuff in that rag.

"And who are we? People who do
not trust what government tells them
because by and large governments
throughout history have served
themselves and the Jewish financial
elite that runs this world. Those
leaders who tried to break away from
that debt slave finanacial system have
found themselves assassinated very
quickly: think Jesus Christ, JFK,
Adolf Hitler and Gaddafi.
Everything we have been told
about history is a lie. Certainly in the
last century of Jewish-run Hollywood
and mainstream media. But instead
of calling people kindergarten names,
open your mind to the possibility that
that may be right and do your own research."

Indeed- it is very runny crap.

I am still shocked that she puts JFK, Hitler and Gaddafi in line with Jesus Christ.

The folks who run the "Irish Shite" are some seriously sick people. GemGem and Waters are twisted beyond anything I have seen in this country for a long long time. The most disturbing thing for me are the cohorts of moronic village idiots who follow this pair of nutters!

John Waters and Gemma o Doherty

Our John was once a respected Irish Times columnist. Look for the lad on YouTube. Bit if a pity these days.
Regards Gemma, well, Johns partner in this comic book parody.

The whole thing really makes the story in a trashy adult comic.
Only Jon and gemgem take it really seriously.

They seem to not like photocells on public lighting fittings.
Maybe they prefer timeclocks or just leave them on to annoy environmentalists.

As insane as some of that stuff is…. And some of it is truly off the rocker, some of the topics aren’t all that insane.

Ireland is full(immigration): very topical issue at the heart of Irish society right now.
LGBT is negatively affecting children: a topic much discussed here.
Lidl’s war on mean: insane, chitin is a good source of dietary fibre yet they describe it as ‘feeding things that make us sick’
How to reach people on the street(vaccines): another topic much discussed here.
Nuclear weapons are propaganda: Richard Feynman recounts watching the first blast in his book, “ Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman”. Anyone who thinks this man a liar needs their head checked.
More immigration and vaccines.
Excess deaths post Covid and vaccines: another topic much discussed here.
Your street lights have been weaponised against you: …….full blown nuts
UN agenda: seems legit.
Use cash and not CBDC: wise advice
More lgbt and trans stuff
The cancer industry: legitimate quotes from real people, although it is misleading. The war on cancer isn’t going as they’d hoped, they’re not asserting a mad conspiracy of big pharma to make money.
Unpasteurised milk is great: why not
Irish were slaves to the Caribbean and the US: this is true despite what all the fact checkers say(and there are a lot of fact checkers disputing this) the main point of contention seems to be “how many?” https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/an ... caribbean/
Globalist elite teaching us not to think: why not, words and meanings are being revised and redefined all the time… what is a woman? What does racist mean? Etc…
Tuam burial site: don’t know much about this but there is a link to a planks thread that seems to corroborate what they are saying. Very eye opening.
Lent is a time to be joyful: ludicrous.

All in all it comes across as conspiratorial, idiotic and poorly researched. There are some genuine conversations in there to be had but because of the insane stuff it can all be dismissed without being addressed. If I were the establishment I would be happy there were people like Gemma and John out there making all criticism look idiotic.
