OK so who has had Covid?
Re: OK so who has had Covid?
The sympathy lasted less than 2 hours.
Good man Kadman, the poor lad is now probably having to make the dinner, do the washing, make the beds.
And all with sore balls.

He is in his hole.
He has watched the whole of Netflix.
He has watched the whole of Netflix.
Thinking out loud, and trying to be occasionally less wrong...
Re: OK so who has had Covid?
I have it now since Saturday. Didn't get really bad until yesterday. Feeling utterly wretched. It resembles the 'flu.
Re: OK so who has had Covid?
How are people going after multiple doses of this?
First time was bad a couple of days, total of about a week unwell
Second time was just a flu or even a bad cold.
Probably had it another time but cant be sure. Like 2nd time.
Had it again a few months ago and it was far far worse than any prior. Still not 100% but its in terms of strength, tiredness.
Im not liking the thoughts that it could get worse & catch it every year until old age.
Hopefully Im an outlier and its just some weird fluke?

Re: OK so who has had Covid?
I've had it three times. First two times the symptoms were very mild. I barely felt sick. The third time knocked me for six for 4/5 days. Took me the guys of 2 weeks to fully get over it.Beatty wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 7:22 am How are people going after multiple doses of this?

Re: OK so who has had Covid?
I've tested positive twice, and I suspect I got it in February 2020. All three doses were awful but each was worse than the last. And after the most recent one, I developed a bacterial sinus infection, which utterly knocked the stuffing out of me. I've never slept so much.
Re: OK so who has had Covid?
Not liking hearing that. Im have a basic fitness or I did. Could run and do 40 to 50 pushups in one go, 100 situps (never tried pushing it past that number). Healthy weight. Now, I get achy arms for days if I do just 20 pushups and its a struggle. I`m afraid to do a run again until I feel confident as I`ve had a few heart palpitations - infrequent & few but happened. The first one was a worry though. It was a couple of weeks after covid & I nearly lost consciousness. Very different to feeling like fainting. Felt weak afterwards. Never happened again. Was v weird. That must of been 2 years ago now? I had another palpitation after the latest bout - just a little racing that didnt last long. No ill effects like the first one. But enough to make me hold of going for a jog.
I will say that I`m improving even if slowly after the latest bout.

Not nice. Have you been to the doctor? I sometimes wonder whether people who are hanging for ages after Covid are fighting a bacterial infection and need an antibiotic. I have chronic sinusitis so knew immediately. People with asthma would know immediately too if they're getting a post Covid chest infection. Between the worst of the Covid, and my sinus infection, it was two weeks in total, and I felt perfect after. Steroids, antibiotic and rest.Beatty wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 3:37 am Not liking hearing that. Im have a basic fitness or I did. Re: OK so who has had Covid?
Since that bout i had achy muscles for months. I found that after trying all sorts of supplements from magnesium to nad etc etc that creatine stopped the aches a day later. I tried it out of desperation.
I got back to running and recently ran 2.4km in 11 mins 30 secs approx. Not lightning but ok. Also managed 36 pushups non stop and 40 something situps
Feeling far better but definitely more susceptible to respiratory infections now. They hit with a harder intensity than ever before

I think you are onto something, my wife was similar and was given antibiotics, seemed to sort her outFugue wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 12:36 pm Not nice. Have you been to the doctor?
