I see that enormously odd emmet spice land account is still posting multiple times a day on instagram. Seems to have a deeply unhealthy obsession with Noel Kelly and the people his agency represents. Very sinister and obsessional. Whoever is behind the account is obviously profoundly angry and mentally ill. A complete and utter weirdo. What a waste of time and energy.

I have a suspicion it may be a failed DJ who is widely known with the industry as being a fantasist and a loser. Graveyard slot on a station with about 30 listeners sort of chap.

I genuinely feel sorry for whatever tragic person is behind that account. What a sad, bleak and pointless life they must live. None of the celebrities they so passionately despise are even engaging. A life of being ignored I’d imagine. Maybe beyond help tbh.

Met the “real” Emmet at an industry do last night. The chap is like a mix of Ivan Yates, Simon Cowell and Malcolm from The Thick of It. If there’s anything he doesn’t know about PR and reputation management then it isn’t worth knowing.

Turns out I was off in my guess around the mentally ill lunatic on instagram. Seems it isn’t the notoriously troublesome and deranged failed DJ. No, it’s some other failure of the mental health system. Seems they are some oddball who writes emails and submits FOI requests to RTE on almost a weekly basis.

I'm not sure why you want to highlight an obscure instagram member. I think ignoring something like that is better.

I used to react to criticism of an organisation that I am a member of, but now I just don't reply and then such messages disappear down the list and the poster get bored from a lack of a reaction so tends not to repeat.
