Since the Sarajevo safari is back in the news continuing first investigations and arrests in Italy I thought this might be worth a thread.

There are obviously tons of conflicting testimonies from all sides which makes it difficult to distinguish fact from fiction, and reliable video material is likely difficult to get hold of.
There must be other conflicts of this kind where war tourism extended to these types of events, but there seems to be a whole lot less material on this, which is a pity.

So my question is:

Are there any reliable sources for these types of events which are not totally skewed by political agenda? If so can you please post them. News articles can count, too.

Not sure if this is something that interests others on this site. There was one poster who probably would have been able to share a lot of insights but I think they abandoned ship.

Right, another attempt.
The Sarajevo hunting allegations (civilians as prey for paying war tourists) are still under investigation, and it appears that the only or strongest “evidence” are testimonies unless other details have been held back. Either way it’s probably not very likely that convictions will come several decades part the alleged events.

The documentary is quite good if viewed as entertainment given the lack of concrete evidence, but…login to view the rest of this post
