Expectations building ahead of official trip to Britain by Catherine Connolly later this month
There is growing expectation in the Irish and British governments that King Charles will visit Ireland as early as next year.
While no firm arrangements are yet in place, there has been significant informal contact on the issue, according to several people with knowledge of the subject who spoke on condition of anonymity.

While KCIII has been here a few times before this would be his 1st visit as the British Sovereign.
When his mother came over in 2011 there was huge interest as the last monarch to visit the Fair City was back 1911 when King George V & Queen Mary came over.
I do hope those dreadful shinners don't kick up a fuss like the last time!
Mind you they have done so many u turns by this stage they could just as easy give vows of undying Loyalty to Himself and no one would bat an eyelid!
