My friend has just lost her mother but her GP is reluctant to prescribe her anything. She had a family history of alcoholism and that's probably why the doctor won't budge but it seems silly as her family is not her.
Anyone know where else she can go? She's supposed to go abroad for a paid internship which will land her a job but is worried that the lack of sleep and grief will affect her ability to do her job.

Doctors who prescibe sleeping pills
Re: Doctors who prescibe sleeping pills
A doctor365 walk-in clinic will do the job, be warned that the Indian doctors who work for them are like robots and don't show any empathy whatsoever. Cost for visit is 50€+ about 35€ for the script. https://doctor365.ie/walk-in-clinics/
